Perfect place after a long flight

Great location close to the airport, with clean and comfortable room and welcoming hosts
Pros:

Clean, comfy bed, room had AC and mosquito nets. Great location close to the airport (less than 5 minute taxi). We only stayed here a night but it had everything we needed and was convenient. The hosts are very kind and were up to meet us at 11pm, assisting with tips on onward travel.

Schöne Unterkunft, um Nahe am Flughafen zu sein
Pros:

Wir haben eine Nacht in dem Hotel verbracht, da es mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt liegt. Es ist keine schöne Gegend, um Urlaub zu machen, aber es war für uns ideal, um am nächsten Tag ganz früh zum Flughafen zu fahren. Es gibt einen schönen ruhigen grünen Innenhof, der mit einem Tor eingezäunt ist,wodurch man sich sehr sicher fühlt, da es definitiv keine touristische Gegend ist und man sich außerhalb (vielleicht aber auch grundlos) etwas unsicher fühlt.

Der Besitzer war wirklich sehr freundlich. Hat uns um 4.30 Uhr in der Früh kostenlos zum Flughafen gefahren. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Hatte Klimaanlage, Ventilator, TV und Moskitonetz zur Verfügung. Schönes sauberes Badezimmer. Würden wieder dort buchen!

Cons:

Die Gegend außerhalb. War aber auch unwichtig, da es um die Nähe zum Flughafen ging :)

Pros:

Ładna stara willa w otoczeniu zieleni. Lokalizacja blisko lotniska i transfer na lotnisko wliczony w cenę noclegu. Pomimo wczesnej godziny wyjazdu właściciel zawiózł nas na lotnisko.

Pros:

The place is historic (150 years old/4th generation home), with a pretty garden and very clean with modern facilities.

Though we landed at 1.30 am in the night, the wonderfully hospitable owner was up and awake to receive us. 5 stars just for that.

All good for a night before going to the airport lovely owners very friendly comfy clean bed

Homely, nice gardens easy location to the airport

Cons:

Basic hot Bathroom, dirty cups no coffee quite tired, had to pay with cash and when trying to leave the island to go home was a pain to get right cash and payback too

Beautiful house, lovely garden and a very sweet couple owner-resident. Highly recommended.
Pros:

We appreciated the smooth and warm welcome check in especially when we arrived past midnight. Beautiful and well kept 140 year old residence with beautiful garden. We stayed less than twelve hours but it was a very nice introduction to Sri Lanka.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike but the mosquitos were huge. A token welcome basket of snacks such as biscuits or bread rolls would be much appreciated, more a gesture than a necessity.
