Wonderful experience
Pros:

The room was exceptional and quite historic, as it was the dining room of the Palazzo. We were very happy with it. Our breakfast was also enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the conversations with two of the hotel staff. Overall we were very pleased with the Palazzo Marletta.

Cons:

We had a slight delay getting access to the hotel, but once that was cleared, everything else was perfect.

Beautiful hotel, ruined by noise
Pros:

The rooms were beautiful and the staff were amazing, we cannot fault the hotel itself.

Cons:

The noise, the restaurant DOC - Duomo of Catania (we do not know if this is new thing) played loud music outside until 2am every morning, our room was opposite and you cannot sleep through even with ear plugs, they need to sort this out as it’s not good and we couldn’t believe this hasn’t been mentioned before, the restaurant staff were essentially doing karaoke what felt directly outside our window. This ruined an amazing hotel for us.
