We were in town for a wedding in a nearby castle and stayed here as this was provided as a hotel by the couple. The hotel is conveniently located off a main road in Aberdeen, a city you can walk through in one day. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance as well as several small supermarkets. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our only complaint was that our room faced the main road which had lots of morning and evening traffic, so it was hard to sleep.
We had an accessible king room which was very large, complete with an efficiency - stovetop and table for eating and preparing food. We did not use parking although there were some spaces in back of the hotel.
We also didn't have the bed and breakfast, opting to buy breakfast at a local supermarket daily. The hotel offers breakfast and also has a grill as a dining option.
We were very lucky to get an early check in which was really appreciated.
Good breakfast plenty of choice.
Nothing.
Close to centre of town
Private parking available
Lovely breakfast and good bar, plenty choice!
Spacious room
No air conditioning the room was so hot we barely slept, there was a small fan but didnt help much.
Centrally located in Aberdeen. Nice lobby.
Staff did not replenish soap or tissues when making up room. Room toward front of circle noisy.
We had a room only rate. Hotel was in a good location for walking to city for exploring etc and meeting up with son who attends Aberdeen University. The Irish girl on the reception desk was very friendly, helpful and polite.
If I had to pick something I think the placement of the sockets in bedroom with access to a mirror and dull lighting just made getting ready for the day a little tricky
Staff were amazing ! Location incredible
The breakfast was mainly very good, however the fried eggs were over cooked .
I would have liked a shower mat as the shower tray is extremely slippy.
We stayed with a big wedding party in May and our experience was lovely!
Clean hotel, easy check-in and comfortable rooms. The rooms have all the amenities you need and all the staff were very helpful if we got lost etc.
The minor issues we encountered were at the bar, where there was only one bartender on who also seemed to be running room service as well. With a lot of the wedding party leaving, delaying drinks.
The rooms got a bit hot as well but there was a fan in the rooms to help, this isn’t really a negative point as we got unnaturally warm but worth noting.
Breakfast was outstanding and a smooth service, especially thanks to Nadyza. She bumped into us and helped with directions to our room on the first night but then remembered us at breakfast. She embodied hospitality and good service, always happy to chat, remembering our coffee order all the whilst supporting her team. Thank you!
The lobby and the restaurant were stunning and immaculately clean.
We were fine to not have the room serviced but would have liked the tea coffee and milk replenished .
Staff so helpful and room stunning and room size and bed size was amazing and clean.and bed was so comfortable
Excellent location, beautiful room with full kitchen.
Lovely helpful welcoming staff. Excellent central location. Good bathroom with shower and separate bath.
Pillows very uncomfortable firm and high stubby cushion like. Lighting quite harsh.
Central location and car parking.
Breakfast was limited.
Poor granola, thin yoghurt, limited fresh fruit.
No variety of nuts and seeds or compotes.
Basically set up for those who like standard cooked breakfasts.
Steaks expensive for the quality.
