Pros:

We love everything about essenhaus. No alcohol. No smoking. NO WEED! We love that. You can’t go anywhere anymore and stay without that rancid smell. Thank you for that alone.

I would definitely stay there again because it was relaxing, beautiful, and there was plenty to do.
Pros:

The breakfast was phenomenal, delicious, and there was plenty of variety. They offered cookies every evening, along with tea, coffee and there were so many places to relax. The grounds were amazing to take walks, ride bikes, or go on a buggy ride. The pool and hot tub were a great way to end the day.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the room I stayed in had a loud air conditioning unit that disrupted sleeping due to the noise. Bring your own soft TP for the restroom and the bed was mediocre.

Pros:

The grounds are serene, the indoor amenities are appealing, and the breakfast exceeds expectations. Staff are courteous and accommodating.

Cons:

The bed had a springy mattress and the sheets were worn and unimpressive. I've stayed at cheaper hotels who offered higher quality bedding and mattresses. Essenhaus is a resort and for the price should boast the best in beds and bedding.

It was a beautiful setting for a relaxing getaway
Pros:

The setting was pleasant & kept very clean & tidy

Cons:

Would have been nice to have eggs at breakfast rather than just sausage & biscuits with gravy as hot options

Enjoyed my stay
Pros:

Loved the breakfast, the grounds were beautiful

Cons:

The bathroom sink and shower in room 123 was very slow in water going down, the shower the most , so did not like that at all.

Quaint, comfortable, simple
Pros:

Quite and comfortable. It screams simple life and I like that even at my young age. The pool set up is great. I love their homemade biscuits for breakfast.

Cons:

Because of its location there isn’t much close by.
