Arbol Verde Villas

Doug is a very nice host. The cabin was in the trees, in a beautiful landscape, and I could hear and see frogs, parrots, and other birds.

Wonderful place near Ojochal! So beautiful. The property is really unique and the owner takes amazing care of it. Such neat touches - the bathroom is really beautiful with handmade clay features. Hot water! The owner blows off all the leaves on the walkways daily which I think must help with the fact that we had no insects. Property is super tight. Kitchen has all essentials and we were able to make meals. No monkeys seen but heard the howlers and there were tons of birds of all kinds. Lots of toucans. And I finally got to see a red eyed tree frog! Property is beautifully landscaped and if you take a walk down the road you'll find even more incredible birds including the montezuma bird. Had a fun dining experience on a Friday evening in Ojochal listening to live music during dinner. Highly recommend!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Doug was very helpful!

We had a beautiful stay with Doug and Robin. The treevillas are tucked away in the jungle where you will hear and see lots of beautiful birds. We woke up by the sound of the howlers.
The pool is very nice as well.

The villa is fully equipped which is very convenient if you want to make something yourself.

Playa Ventanas is not far. We loved it!

The villas, the owners, the location, and the staff are absolutely incredible. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Beautifully situated, birds and monkeys to serenade you. Lots of amenities including free washer/dryer. Close to town. Wonderful, comfortable and very accommodating host.

Really nice facilities, each unit is built on an elaborate elevated platform (as were the walkways) in the jungle. Lots of birds, including parrots. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.

This place is just PERFECT! A quiet oasis in rainforest! It is our favorite accommodation after 3,5 weeks in Costa Rica. Doug is super friendly, such a great host. A warm welcome. The property is so beautiful. You can see that they have an eye for details. All the trees, flowers, birds… just lovely. Our villa had beautiful views, we even saw a sloth! The villa is well equipped, clean and super comfortable. The complimentary Costa Rica coffee is a nice bonus. It’s the perfect place to explore the region, but also to chill, for example at the beautiful pool. Thank you so much!!

Unique! Beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. After 3 nights in a basic cabin in Osa, this was almost luxury. The cabin was well-equipped, very comfortable, cool (without using the AC), and at canopy level with great views of the surrounding trees. We were on the edge of Ojochal, very quiet, and the garden was really a rainforest experience. The pool was particularly pleasant and attractive, surrounded by garden, and we spent a fair amount of time there (which we normally don't do).

Perfect, Relaxing Hideaway

This is a beautiful place to stay and very relaxing. We were busy with outside activities so didn’t get to enjoy the pool like we would have liked. They have a washer and drier on site for guests to use free of charge and after traveling around the country for 2 weeks before arriving this was handy.

The villas were separated and clean and private. It felt like you were far away from everything but actually several great restaurants and beaches nearby.

We loved this place. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the rooms and grounds are beautiful. It is a small operation (five units?) but each is perched high on olarforms in the forest, se it feels like a highend treehouse. The only issue was with hotwater in the shower which was hard to regulate esoecially if the grounds were being watered.

The rooms are spotless and there has been great attention to detail- nice toiletries, lots of towels, fresh coffee, free water and a laundry facility which is free to use. The whole offer speaks of generosity and pride in what is being provided. The location is also great. A 5 minute drive along a dirt road puts you well off the beaten track, so when you sit on your balcony the wildlife comes to you - lots of hummingbirds, toucans and howler monkeys. Restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive back down the dirt road, which at first we worried about, but which turned out to be no problem at all and a good selection of top class meals available.
