Well positioned, needs a renovation
Pros:

The location, right in the heart of filthy old town and a quick stroll to the lake.

Cons:

The corridor & room smelt musty due to lack of ventilation & mould growth. Our shower head did not work, we had to wash ourselves using the bath tap, toilet did not flush, carpets were disgusting, ants in the room & bathroom, the gym was unmaintained, filthy & smelt like sewerage.
They changed our rooms to another which actually had a window which did show initiation on the hotels part. This hotel needs a reno to match the one in HCM.

The helpful and attentive staff. Richard went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The breakfast was really nice with lots of choice.

Pros:

The hotel was very nice! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The views from the sky top roof were amazing!

Cons:

The breakfast wasn't great; the food was always cold. The location was nice to be able to walk to most places, but it's located on the busiest part of the street, it's very hard to get through the traffic, especially in a grab or taxi.

Hanoi is cool in January best season of the year!
Pros:

I enjoyed the excellent breakfast spread, friendly service of Vivian the restaurant manager. Also the choice of eggs & different noodles for the day. The best i felt was the desserts in the fridge. As for the front line staff, Dylan was very good in offerring advice on what to do as well as excellent directions from the hotel one-page map as to all the nearby places to walk to. The best location for us as it's easy walking distance to nearby attractions. Further away, yoi can just take Grab.

Cons:

If you arrive on Sunday night & your room faces the road (with window view), you will hear the loud music at the corner of the Beer Street area from 9pm to 11pm. But it's good for the general public as it livens up the mood.

Totally recommended to stay here, will come back.
Pros:

Amazing breakfast with changing offers every day and the passion fruit mousse is a blast! Nicely located in the old quarter, super friendly staff. They agreed to store my large bicycle flight case for 2 weeks without hesitation! The rooftop terrace offers great views.

A great value for money hotel in a fabulous location
Pros:

Very central location right in the heart of the Old Town. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were excellent particularly Hannie who organised all our tours which were all brilliant.
