The room was not sound proof so we 1 felt that our neighbour could hear everything we did and 2 were kept awake by phone conversations and constant noises from our neighbour.

Super Hotel with Amazing Staff
Pros:

Great location for our visit to the city, The room was very comfortable and we could not hear any road noise. When arriving the staff were all so friendly and helpful with our luggage and advice on where to do for dinner.

Cons:

Nothing it was a perfect stay for us.

The staff were amazing. My granddaughter left her computer only realised as we were checking in to fly back home. The staff did not hesitate and brought the laptop to us. Amazing service and greatly appreciated

I absolutely loved my stay here, the staff were absolutely spectacular and super helpful and attentive.
The rooms are SPOTLESS and surprisingly spacious with excellent room service to boot!
The pool was phenomenal and is a perfect way to cool off from the Saigon heat AND it’s an open air indoor pool, first I’ve ever seen! A must try if you visit :)
The breakfast was some of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel and is now where I set the bar for hotel breakfasts, if I can give anyone any piece of advice it’s to ask the staff for an iced coffee, you’re in Vietnam it’s the best way to start the day!
The location was very central and easy to get to everywhere, just walk or call a Grab straight to the door and be on your way.
Some of the staff also prepared my wife a happy birthday gift which was very much appreciated ❤️

Cons:

The walls in the room are a bit paper thin, we had a couple stay beside us on our last night with their baby and we overheard them have a juicy argument and their child wouldn’t stop crying so keep that in mind.
The gym can hardly be called a gym, as an avid gym goer a rack of dumbbells, a bike and a treadmill that is not very sturdy is not ideal but in a pinch it gets the job done. It is fashioned out of a room so it has a toilet and a bathroom which I did find a bit amusing.
There was nothing else of note that I didn’t like about the orchid, it was overall an incredible experience.

Wonderful service
Pros:

The staff at the hotel were so helpful, especially the Concierge, always ready with suggestions of places to go, restaurants, etc. All requests were responded to quickly and efficiently. Breakfast was great, with a lot of choice available.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Orchids Saigon Hotel und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Alles verlief von Anfang bis Ende völlig unkompliziert.
Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und bot eine unglaublich große Auswahl, die keine Wünsche offen lässt.
Der Concierge war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns viele hervorragende Tipps für Saigon gegeben, all unsere Fragen beantwortet und uns den Aufenthalt im Hotel und in der Stadt wirklich sehr einfach gemacht.
Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und absolut sauber. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl.
Die Lage ist super – zentral, aber dennoch so gelegen, dass man die Stadt perfekt erkunden kann.

Pros:

Das Orchids Hotel Saigon hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und kompetent. Das Frühstück hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Lage ist sehr gut und man kommt in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt.

Photos not accurate
Pros:

Staff were very welcoming. Luggage was kept safe on the last day.

Cons:

Hotel room did not look anything like the pictures on booking.com. It was much smaller, just like a basic hotel room with barely enough space to open suitcases, despite the pictures showing a large room with extra space for a recliner chair and coffee table. This was raised to the staff upon arrival and we were told that only the corner rooms look like the picture advertised and that most rooms are like the one we were given. This was quite upsetting as we chose the hotel based on the room pictures so this felt quite misleading. The staff did not offer any alternatives to the situation which left us quite upset :(
Additionally, it specified that the rooms were soundproof however we were kept up by the snoring heard from the room next door as well as noises from the hallway anytime someone was there. The booking also stated 'city view' however all we could see was the building right next door.

Would stay again
Pros:

Only stayed the one night but would stay again. Room looked out into a vacant building so felt really private. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was great for District 1!

Pros:

Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal. Sowohl die Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption als auch die Mitarbeitenden am Eingang waren jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit, höflich und haben sich viel Mühe gegeben. Man wurde stets freundlich begrüßt und bei Fragen unterstützt. Die Unterkunft war zudem sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt, sodass man sich während des gesamten Aufenthalts wohlfühlen konnte. Auch der Empfangsbereich machte einen ordentlichen und einladenden Eindruck. Insgesamt habe ich mich durch den guten Service und die Sauberkeit sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
