Perfect location on the river it had everything we needed. Stayed just the one night on our way back home from Colorado. I would stay here again.
The location by the river
Our bed was very uncomfortable, it sank in the middle it was terrible to be honest
Quite overbooked and busy. Room was the first room off of the elevator. Anytime someone came in that was increased in volume, toddler and puppy would wake up.
This is our go to hotel when in the Quad Cities. The staff are friendly and the place is kept up very well. We really like the River Room bar on the 9th floor. The view of the Mississippi River is spectacular and Tony, the bartender, is top notch.
Everything from check i. To check out is amazing. The front desk staff are AWESOME and very helpful. The 9 dot restaurant has a amazing menu. The new pork chop dinner is highly recommended. The bar staff is GREAT. Very friendly and very personable. Rooms are very nice and updated . All n all a great place to stay
This is a beautiful new hotel on the riverfront. The ninth level bar has a beautiful view of the river. The rooms are nice sized with everything you need. The pool is that of a business hotel. There is no lounging room or space for many people.
Nice and clean Hyatt Place. We were traveling through and the hotel meet all our needs.
-Clean
-Nice breakfast.
-Pool.
-Laundry facilities.
They also a lounge on the 9th floor with a nice view of the Mississippi. We would definitely stay again.
Loud people until 3 am. Could hear through the adjoining door
I've stayed at this hotel twice, and both visits have been excellent. The staff has always been friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The woman who checked me in made me feel right at home, and later, a gentleman at the front desk with a beard was quick to help when I needed extra bedding.
I also had a great experience at the River Room bar. The bartender was extremely busy but remained professional and attentive to everyone. I was especially impressed when a member of the front desk team came upstairs to help during the rush. It was great to see everyone working together to provide outstanding customer service.
The hotel itself offers beautiful river views, comfortable rooms, a great value, and a convenient location near Augustana College. My son is planning to attend Augustana and play sports there, so I'll likely be staying at this hotel many times over the next several years.
In fact, my experience here was so positive that I decided to join the World of Hyatt program. I look forward to returning and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Quad Cities area.
Thank you for providing a platform where travelers can share experiences and recognize businesses that go above and beyond.
The hotel was on the Mississippi River and I booked a river view (at $250/night) but was put in a parking lot view without my knowledge/consent. Upon arrival we found out there was a Luke Bryan concert nearby that night and the hotel would shuttle people. Therefore, parking at the hotel was not available (nobody drove) except for across the street. The hotel showed it's age/abuse by past travelers. The room they gave us was large. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Noise level was good despite the number of teens there. Direct TV channels were not great. The room was mostly clean. The road out front was closed and under construction so we had a slight detour to get to the hotel. The train tracks were very close and the horn blew well into the night.
At checkout, we were informed we had a $50 food and beverage credit that wasn't told to us at checkin. The response, "that's too bad". Breakfast was a typical buffet. Just ok. We will not go there again when in town visiting family.
The hotel is barebones. And the service is suboptimal. Tv didn’t work. They don’t answer the phones nor clean the rooms.
Loved the location and our room with river views! Just hard to get to...the room was great, breakfast fabulous and varied food selections. Staff was friendly
Love the rooftop bar and views. Food there was excellent too.
Coffee maker in room. Need a Keurig type machine
(with decent creamers and not that cheap dried packet stuff...)
