The Prima Residence

Nice staffs and feel safe.

A very nice property

The Prima Residence is adequate for short stay travel. We needed a hotel close to the airport for one night and it did just that. You can find food in the area but it’s street food if you dare eat it. We did and it was tasty and cheap.

Was only a quick overnight. Checkin was easy and transportation on time.

It’s an ok place, close to the airport. Their shuttle only runs till 9:30 AM so not helpful for afternoon flights. It’s an old place but looked clean enough. OK if you need to spend one night close to the airport. Grab driver had hard time finding it. Surrounding area definitely feels third world.

The prima is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

The staff was friendly, the room was ok, but the bathroom was not up to par. Once you start showering, the water sprays all over the toilet paper. And you'd have to be skinny to scrub abd turn around to do your thing in that small shower. Just bad design.. Breakfast was very Thai and was good. A 2-star and not more.

The rooms themselves were spacious and seemed in good condition, but what made this hotel suck was the bugs. When we first went into our room, there was an enormous cockroach that scuttled across the room. The staff killed it with Raid and a towel, but not before it left a dirty pile of droppings on our bedsheets.

This might have been fine, but there were also mosquitoes in our room. I killed 6 mosquitoes and got at least 3 bites while sleeping there.

Bed was super hard, therefore we couldn’t rest. Staff is really helpful though!!

Overall the propery is ok. It serves the purpose. I needed to catch a flight at 625am. The best part is that it is clean, safe, comfortable, and they made sure i got to the airport via a shuttle.

The area is a bit far from shops/stores. But the hotel was fine and so is the wifi. Video calls work fine.

As Gold members we chose this property based on the ranking and star rating as well as the location. It was ranked a 3 star by Expedia and given an 8.6 rating. Even the pictures looked nice for something close to the airport.

Reality was very different. It was understaffed and run down. The non smoking room reeked of smoke and I would give it only one star. With a price difference of only $20 Can per night under a beachfront Koh Chang resort I am questioning my use and trust in Expedia on this one.

Was fine for access to airport shuttle in the early morning. Older run down hotel, some smells from water that has left stains on the walls

If you have an early flight and need a airport shuttle its a good place to stay.The price is right.It can be bit noisy as it is an older building.Overall no complaints.

The place is not clean and difficult to find.
