Interesting.
Pros:

Hard to locate via taxi. Didn't speak English. Bathroom had mold. Never got access to WiFi. Never fresh towels. Very thin walls so next door neighbor conversation heard.

Pros:

The hotel that I stayed in is not the hotel mentioned in the travel email confirmation. it is a deferent hotel, under a deferent name and location.
I arrived to Istanbul about 3.30 AM and I took a taxi to take me to the hotel , but when we arrived their they said to me that my name is not in their list of reservation.
it was a shock for me and I didn't know what to do. I asked the taxi driver to contact the hotel phone number provided within the email and he did, after the conversation between the driver and the hotel on the phone, they gave the driver deferent address to take me, it was completely deferent than I had in my email. deferent hotel in a deferent place.
I didn't understand and I still don't understand what was going on.
the hotel stuff tolled me that the owner of the both hotels are related to each other., and the original hotel has already send my details to them, I didn't know what to do, I had no choice as the time was about 5 AM and I don't know anyone in Istanbul, I don't know where to go, whom to contact , I don't have a net.
so I accepted to stay with them.
