Pros:

i thought it was neat their windows had posters of the sites posted outside lol!!! otherwise you'd be looking at a wall, so i thought it was a nice touch

Pros:

Our room was very smelly, room 12. Like urine. Bed was ok. Bathroom ok. The window blind was broken. Floor boards were unfinished wood and I have a feeling this was the origin of the smell. I could not recommend this establishment as is but I thought it had great potential. Had a certain charm and warmth but it just didn’t seem clean, in general. Could be nice with new floors (non porous) and new paint. The staff were nice enough. We only stayed one night.

Pros:

We arrived and the only front desk staff was out busy taking other guests to their lodging, the place has apparently overbooked not only us but others as well. When she returns (25 mins later), she told us we don't have a reservation. She looked stressed and was not being helpful even when we show her our reservation on expedia (it was around 9 pm and we are a couple with 2 young kids and luggages - 7 and 9 years old). Only after another guess who spoke Spanish intervene, she then reluctantly agreed to take us to a "comparable" lodging down the street but it was not comparable at all. The other lodging was older, the room was really design for 1 double bed and it didn't have a lodging/hangout place like casa cain (bathroom was small and smelled). We didn't argue any more because we didn't want to scramble for a room in the middle of the night (raining with 2 kids). But Casa Hain did not work hard at taking care of their guests -
