Personable and helpful young staff, but low budget in price, room comfort and amenities.
Pros:

The young staff were great in responding to our requests for changing towels, finding some more clothes hangers to supplement the two in the closet, providing a foldable table for something to work on, turning on the heat when it was cold, and providing a fan when it was hot. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the WIFI worked, and the television was large enough to enjoy. The location was close to a bus stop to downtown, and within walking distance to Brunel University.

Cons:

Lighting was a standing lamp in the corner, the ceiling lights did not work. The bathroom was small and hard to control the water temperature in the shower. The heat was not initially working when it was cold, and there was no fan or air conditioning when it was hot. There was no table or desk to put a computer on, or for snacks and drinks.

Cons:

We stayed for four days without any housekeeping service. One evening, at around 8:30 p.m., I entered the access code incorrectly. The staff member refused to help me and rudely said that it was my problem and that I would have to wait for an hour. After I repeatedly asked for assistance, he eventually came but shouted at me. His behaviour was completely unacceptable.

the pictures on the website are very deceptive
Pros:

no breakfast
no staff answering the door although I was knocking loudly.

Cons:

the bed was missing slats and dropping on the side of the head, the sprung mattress was old and bumpy, the carpet was genuinely dirty and stained. I was not supplied any decent towels, bar a minuscule one that I was supposed to use to shower.
I got locked out of my room and was not able to go back in as the electronic keypad was malfunctioning.

Staff was very nice. Clean room but small. Happy with my experience there 👍

Cons:

The bed was broken from one side and the mattress was sinking in when laying on that side. Everything else was good .

Disappointed in booking.com for allowing this!
Pros:

The hotel agreed to a late check in and then no one was there to let me in! Entrance was locked. They didn’t send a password for entry. No one has contacted me after making a complaint!! No one answered their phones despite leaving a notice to contact them on 3 different mobile numbers. Poor business!!! I cannot believe this is what booking.com is allowing!

Comfortable, clean room , good nights sleep.
