Short but lovely.
Pros:

Great breakfast and loved sitting in the back deck overlooking the lake afterwards.

Cons:

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed.
Pros:

The location with so many restaurants and shopping available.

Cons:

The front lobby was messy the reception desk specifically. It looked like a utility closet. The microwave available to customers for use was extremely dirty with dried food in it and under it, not to mention the rotating glass dish was missing. The elevator carpet was dirty and it smelled musty. Staining on the wall as soon as you exited the elevator. Hallway smelled musty and certain parts of the carpet were dirty. The carpet in the room was stained and the bathtub was dusty and had hair in it. Compared the my stay at the Hyatt Centric Hotel in Southpark Charlotte this was very mediocre for $200 a night. I won’t be back.

I wouldn’t refuse to come back. I just thought it would be nicer than it was.
Pros:

Size of room. Nice bathroom.

Cons:

Refrigerator in room would not get cold, the pool needed cleaned and had mold around it, the breakfast eggs and waffles were ice cold.

Very nice stay, great staff, and great location.
Pros:

The staff was very welcoming, professional, and informative. The breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel in many years. The location was great for shopping and dining.

Cons:

Not being able to see out of the room windows. If there was an option, I was not aware of how to make the change.

Very nice hotel if you’re not interested in the pool.
Pros:

Location was excellent… the deck overlooking the water was very nice, and the inside of the hotel is beautiful. Inside the lobby is extremely clean and smells nice. The room itself was very nice… furniture in great condition, mini fridge cold, towels and bedding were extremely clean and smelled fresh.

Cons:

First and foremost, the photos of the pool were taken at an angle that makes the pool APPEAR to be huge and very luxurious… but it’s tiny and only 4.5’ deep ! More like a pool for a few kids than the massive resort style pool that the online image suggests. We actually circled the entire property thinking we had somehow overlooked the pool featured in the hotel photos. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING if your favorite part of staying in a hotel is relaxing in the pool.

Room 134 had a slight musty / mildew scent that was emphasized every time the AC fan would kick on. That being said, the AC fan would not work at all on high - only on low, and the room didn’t really cool down properly until the middle of the night.

Everything is great!
Pros:

I have stayed here multiple times over the last two years when visiting or dropping off my son at college at UNF. I also stayed here with several other family members and friends and got a room block and a great rate back in October of 25'. The staff was welcoming and could certainly handle a large crowd. I will continue to stay here when I visit.

Beautiful New Hyatt Property
Pros:

Always a wonderful experience staying here. Staff is fantastic. Convenient to shopping and Mayo Clinic. Affordable, conformable rooms. Well managed!
