AntiK Apart Hotel

I had a very disappointing experience staying at AntiK Apart Hotel in Riga. It was honestly the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in.

The floor had clearly not been swept or vacuumed at all, and it was full of dust, dirt, and debris. The bathroom was in an unacceptable condition. The toilet had not been properly cleaned or disinfected, and there were visible stains and residue. The shower was also full of hair, which made it feel very unhygienic.

It genuinely seemed like the only thing done between guests was changing the bed sheets, and even that I’m not entirely confident about. On that note, the sheet itself was smaller than the mattress, making it impossible to sleep without it coming off and exposing the dirty mattress underneath.

I’m generally quite tolerant when it comes to cleanliness, and given the price, I wasn’t expecting luxury. However, basic hygiene, like a clean toilet and a properly cleaned floor, should be the bare minimum.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place unless these issues are addressed.

Unfortunately, cleanliness was a serious issue during both of my stays. The floors were visibly dirty, with dust and debris, as if they hadn’t been cleaned properly (or at all probably) between guests. The bathroom was in a poor hygienic condition. The toilet did not appear to have been disinfected, and there were noticeable urine stains, while the shower contained hair from previous guests.

It gave the impression that only the bedding was changed between check-outs and check-ins, and even that was questionable, since I found crumbs on my pillow. The bed sheet was also too small for the mattress, meaning it constantly came loose and exposed the mattress underneath, which did not feel clean. I decided to sleep with my jeans one, just for not touching the mattress.

I don’t have high expectations, especially at this price point, but basic cleanliness should always be guaranteed. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during either of my stays, which makes it difficult to recommend.

К сожалению, остались крайне неприятные впечатления от проживания. В номере стоял сильный неприятный запах. Постельное бельё выглядело так, будто его не стирали, что вызывает серьёзные сомнения в соблюдении санитарных норм. Сантехника и общее состояние душевой находятся в плохом состоянии, пользоваться ими было некомфортно.

Отдельно хочу отметить, что хозяин отказался предоставить квитанцию об оплате, что также является серьёзным минусом.

В целом уровень условий и сервиса не соответствует ожиданиям. Не могу рекомендовать данное место для проживания.
