The easiest way to get to the property from the main train station in Lucerne is to take the S5 train. IN only two stations you are at the "Mattenhof" station. From there it is only a few steps to the hotel.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Decent option for short family stay
Pros:

Room was very spacious for my 4 member family. Location was very nice with train and bus stations just few minutes away. Front staffs were very cordial and supportive.

Cons:

Breakfast menu was repetitive in all 3 days with not much verities.

Lage sehr gut und Frühstück gut.
Umgebung: Restaurants, Apotheke, Migros und Bäckerei. Zimmer sehr raum.

Cons:

Ich verstehe all die positive Kommentaren nicht.
Sprechen eher Englisch beim Check-in/Check-aus. Wegbeschreibung ab Bahn nicht vorhanden. ÖV Gästekarte vor Anreise nicht empfangen. Mehrmals Aussicht Pilatus gefragt, Aussicht Sonnenberg/Garage erhalten. Nur 1 Stuhl im Zimmer, bei 2 Personen buchung. Nicht lösungsorientiert.
