Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
Reception operates daily but is not open 24 hours. Closing time is 11:00 PM.
Effective 1 July 2016, as mandated by the Langkawi Municipal Council, a local government Tourism Promotion Fee will be charged per room, per night.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Nice enough hotel but some descriptions were misleading and we should have been told about the building site at time of
Pros:

Location and room type (queen suite) was perfect for our needs.

Cons:

Pool was barely 500mm deep and only 3 sun loungers around it. Breakfast was poor and although the staff were nice enough we struggled to communicate the basic requirements.
The hotel is also next to a live, noisy building site And there’s also a bigger site opposite but far enough away not to be disturbed by the noise.

We had a wonderful stay at Royal Chenang Langkawi with our group of friends. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety to start the day. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with a smile. Thank you for the warm hospitality—we would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Langkawi!

Pros:

10 out of 10 for the location. Beautiful view to the forest. We saw cute monkeys and squirrels coming to our balcony. Beautiful pool, but for children. Amazing staff, Zaraa's assistance was outstanding. We will definitely come back next time. Highly recommended!

Low season ample parking. Breakfast just ok. Receptionist resolved our problem by changing our room because the AC unit is not working.

If its Too Good to be True. Then it usually is!
Pros:

The breakfast was atrocious for Europeans. Did not really cater for tastes or palate. Bread toasted was a safe bet.

Cons:

Staff chef would sit at a bar smoking and watching or reading on his phone. Completely disinterested in guests.
