Pros:

Absolutely Incredible experience staying at La Dolce Vita. By far, the highlight of our trip to Fiji. Chef Michelle's food is worth the flight to Savusavu alone. Every meal we had was award winning, even our insanely picky eater children cleaned their plates and tried new things. Margaret was a wonderful host, she arranged smooth transport for us to and from the resort, a number of wonderful excursions, and she hosted a wonderful Fiji night including local musicians even though we were the only guests. The grounds are beautiful, the bures are large and comfortable, the attention to detail throughout the property is obvious. All staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time in the pool, the lagoon, and exploring the changing tides. Can't recommend La Dolce Vita enough.

Pros:

La Dolce Vita happened to us… we arrived all in severe need of a relaxing holiday, and we got taken care of with such love and care… the food that Michelle cooked daily and freshly was outstanding and every day was a different culinary delight; the hospitality we received by every staff member from airport pick up by Sonia to daily delivery of meals and ice by Mabel and the wonderful ladies of housekeeping doing our laundry, and the insanely indulgent massages by Vera.. even rainy days couldn’t ruin this holiday. Thank you for every to the Owners, their daughter, and their incredible team for making this an experience that laves all other Fiji holidays in the pale. Thank you also to the beautiful neighbours we met who welcomed us and generously spent their time with us as well. We will be back….vinaka vaka levu…

Pros:

What a lovely place. Excellent food. Helpful and very friendly owners and staff. Gorgeous ocean views. Situated near some of Fiji's most beautiful scenery. The photos don't do it justice!

Pros:

We stayed here 4/18 -4/25/2019. Prior to our booking, we noticed a lack of recent reviews as it turns out this resort was closed in order to fix damage caused by a tropical cyclone a couple years back. Don't let this bother you! They don't advertise so they are not very busy which is in your favor!

It is a small resort, less than 10 bures. There is a lagoon, kayaks are available plus short hiking trails. The small golf course is under construction, not ready. It is very private, during our entire visit we were the only guests! This allowed the staff to be very attentive but at the same time, the Fiji life is easy, there is no pressure to go on excursions, if you do just ask and they are available. Snorkeling, diving, hiking, church, massage, fishing, etc they will make arrangements and take you there, no need to rent a car. The food (Chef Michelle) and room service is Amazing, laundry was free. We booked with Travelocity/Expedia all the meals were included.

Margaret and Luigi operate the resort, they are wonderfully charming and kind and available to answer any questions you have before you book or during your trip...they take good care of you.
The only negative is the wifi was down and we did not have AC in our bure, but we didn't care, didn't really need it with the ocean breeze, plus with open windows we could hear the birdsong and waves in the distance.
