It was close to everything. It was good to mix with the other guests over breakfast
hotel reservation with breakfast but no breakfast.
Help yourself continental breakfast was good. Plenty of cereal, toast, yoghurt and juice as well as unlimited tea and coffee ( instant). Great for the price

The staff were super nice and helpful with advice. Its a period hotel with charm and character. Offstreet parking. Nothing too fancy but quite pleasant and the cafe was lovely and the best part was the platypus walk (yes we saw one)

The room is squished and you enter the hotel thru the dining area and the car park are is not kept well

No Tv. Bathroom was a little too open to the room.
Town center location, bar/restaurant is downstairs. The place is like a living museum piece, giving guests a taste of what a country hotel looks and feels like. For that experience, I am happy to let go some of the "creature comforts .” Some of the basic appliances like kettle, microwave oven can be found in the common area.
Squeaky doors and floor.
Hosts were great, room was modern with everything you needed. The common area for breakfast was great. Had the fish for dinner, very good. Bonus was the platypus walk in the evening and we saw 2.

Clean comfortable rooms. Had a lovely dinner, it was excellent, with an open fire in the bar/restaurant. Motorcycle undercover parking for a couple of bikes. Well worth the experience.
