This hotel has been reported to booking.com for improper conduct by the owner on booking.com. website. He was very upset that I posted the facts about his refusal to answer questions about the rooms prior to payment. He then violated the the terms of use for the website and booking.com's privacy policy. Please use this information to avoid this hotel and the stress of booking a room there. Refer to my review below for specific details.


They wouldn't answer my questions about the room before I checked in. It's a very bad sign that a hotel doesn't want to provide information about the room and hotel facilities. It's usually because they they know you won't like the answer so they try to avoid the question until they have your money first. I cancelled the reservation. Don't pay to stay anywhere that won't provide accurate information about the rooms.

They had no welcome water in the room. They wanted to charge me $1.25. It’s the princess please! Hotels never charge for a little complimentary bottle of water.
Then they did not accept debit card payment and wanted to hold my passport as a security deposit! That is a gamble n an insulting lack of trust.
Then there was only 1 shower gel in a room for 2. Then there was only 1 towel. While I was getting tired of this situation and requiring the least amenities they would grow aggressive.
When checked out the receptionist didn’t even leave his chair… gaming… with his both feet on a charge r. It was an unpleasant stay.
Considering that I had to go to the reception for every missing amenity and how they grew aggressive I do not recommend this place to anyone.
I’m a former hotel manager from with a degree from Cornell Nolan and I assure you… it was once and no more. Every time they’d looked at me it was with disrespect and disregard.

Air conditioner was really bad. The one in my room was really loud like it has been working for years, then the staff moved us to another room, however, the air conditioner in this room did not work so we had to ask for extra fan. But the landlord seemed not really happy with that and said something about our stay that we only stayed for 2 nights but we were asking too much. I booked a room for my staycation but I felt like I rented a room with aggressive landlord.

At least, the other staff was nice.

Staff weren’t friendly, bed was super hard. Location, too quiet for us. Not really for tourists,

If you get a room facig the river you will be blinded every night with bright light shining into your room from the pier. The room is not as clean as you expect. The photos are from the past. It was not the same photos when I stayed. The room I got wasn't the one in the photo instead I got the room with bed facing the shower and bathroom. I didnt enjoy seeing that every night. The District 4 police station is at the end of the street. It plays the police siren horn in the morning, afternoon, and evening. It is not a quiet area. I won't stay at this place again.
