Pros:

The staff were absolutely lovely, very attentive and responsive to our needs, which made travelling with our 18-month-old so much easier. Brenda in particular was wonderful, and the breakfast staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Our room was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed, including a microwave, kettle, fridge and TV with Netflix and YouTube, which was really useful with a little one. They also arranged a cot for us.

The hotel organised a taxi to collect us from the airport and another to take us to our next destination, which we really appreciated. Being somewhere new, it was reassuring to have the hotel help arrange reliable transport for us. Everything we asked for was provided and we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Cons:

The only minor issues were with communication before we arrived and the taxis. I wasn't able to message the hotel through the Booking.com app in the same way as with our other hotels, so I had to contact them by email instead, which meant responses sometimes took a little longer.

We had also requested a baby car seat for the taxis, but unfortunately neither taxi had one. This was a little disappointing when travelling with an 18-month-old. However, these were relatively minor issues and didn't take away from what was otherwise a great stay.

Perfect accommodation to visit Mombasa
Pros:

Very friendly staff. They even brought us fruits on our first day to our room. Location is good if you want to visit Mombasa for one night. There is a nice restaurant on the first floor.

Cons:

It can become noisy, but consider that you are directly in a big African city.

Posizione perfetta dall’aeroporto.
Personale cordiale, attento e super pronto ad aiutarti per qualsiasi cosa. Ho usufruito della SPA per un massaggio ed è stato molto bello.

Cons:

Servizio della cena (ma è un pò caratteristica locale) un pò lento.
La piscina non è grande quindi non è un soggiorno dove prevedere sdraio e bagno.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sapphire! The staff were amazing — very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel has excellent facilities, a great and complete breakfast, and I really appreciated having the restaurant and bar service available 24 hours. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the location is very central and convenient.

Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Cons:

The only small point is that the soundproofing between rooms could be a little better, as we could occasionally hear other guests, but it was nothing significant and did not affect our stay.
