The hotel infrastructure is fantastic. Also the breakfast and the very polite employers.
The shower in my room present's a small problem but it was ok
When I arrived at Trillium Boutique City Hotel, I was informed that all rooms were fully booked due to an event, and my reservation could not be honored. This was despite clearly indicating a late check-in, which had already been confirmed by the property.
I was not informed in advance about this issue, and no alternative arrangement was provided upon arrival.
As a result, I had to find another place to stay at the last minute, which was very stressful and inconvenient.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would strongly recommend that the property improve its booking management and communication with guests to avoid such situations.
We booked it from booking.com and they said it filled .And we ask about that and they said nothing to do about that.
The room was spacious, and the beds were firm and comfortable. The breakfast sometimes was a buffet, other times a choice between American breakfast or Sri Lankan, both were a great way to start the day. The rooftop pool was a wonderful place to cool down after a warm day in Colombo, with a great view, a good meal and a delicious cocktail. We would definitely return here if we come back to Colombo.
