Cons:

The smell is SoOoOo bad in the toilet
Towels has been used for ages.
I could hear the snoring of the person in the next room. Shame on booking.com that rated such hotel as 5 star this is a scam.

Comfortable if the hot water system was fixed

Nice stay for conference purposes - definitely choose the best room option as there is a noticeable difference.
Pros:

I was upgraded to apparently the best room. It was big and spacious. I was briefly in a regular room at first - the beds in the regular room are not as comfy as the best room. Pillows very soft. Taxi/delivery apps find it very easy to access. I did not try the breakfast/bar/pool so can not comment on that. Close to the conference hall so suited my purpose. Airport is around 40 ninite drive away. It is inside the pick-up zone for Yala safaris. Staff are pleasant. Cafe connected to the hotel is pleasant enough. Shower has shampoo/condotioner/body wash and also came with toothbrush and toothpaste (Did not use but useful to have just in case). Air conditioner worked okay. No problem with noise at all. No street dogs around the property which was good. Lift music is mozart which is a nice touch.

Cons:

The bath had a few hairs in - I think this was missed because they quickly cleaned it to upgraded me. Can not complain really…

The fridge does not really make things cold.

Good, but not five star.
Pros:

The roof top area is a great place to relax during the day or evening. It is close to the BMICH convention centre, if attending a conference there.

Cons:

Having to pay after every meal and drink, not being able to 'put it on the room'. Make up of the room never consistent
