Good value for money, but take the AC room.
Pros:

It was very convenient and hone cozy! The staff was soo lovely and it was clean and quiet which I really liked.

Cons:

The room got insanely hot without ac, so every night I had to keep the doors open for a few hours before sleep because there is no ventilation.

Einfach und günstig
Pros:

Günstige Übernachtung um was in Weligama etwas zu erleben.

Cons:

Tags über wurde es sehr heiß in dem Zimmer und hat sich zu dem Abend nicht abgekühlt. Zudem hat man jedes Auto / Tuktuk vorbei fahren hören in der Nacht.

Worth the money though better places can be found if not last minute deal
Pros:

The kitchen inside the room is well equipped: even the microwave which is a rare find across Weligama. The room is bright with lots of lightning coming through. The host is welcoming. The water is free. Nice common area. And amazing location in quiet area!

Cons:

The property is well worn. Even my bedsheets had holes in it. Because it’s the first floor I was always fighting spiders, ants and even gecko who came couple of times through the AC (how?). The door, which is also the window, is located that way that everybody can see what you do inside - it was uncomfortable when going to the bathroom. And after 6:30 the light from the toilet made it impossible to sleep. For me it was not a problem, bc I get up early to surf, but keep in mind. Lastly, no washing machine was available (laundry only).

Pros:

The location is good, not too far from local restaurants, the supermarket and the beach. There is a local shop at the end of the road.

Cons:

The bedsheets and underbedding were stained and small insects were crawling on my bed. The room was very hot, with two fans not doing the job. The pillows were worn, stained and yellowed. The bed was also very short.

Pros:

Nice place to stay, the lady who runs it was very friendly. We had a fan room and there was an extra fan in there which was useful, there is an area to make tea/coffee, the bathroom is clean and the beds were comfortable. For us the location was good as it was about 10 minute walk to the beach but there are accommodations closer but this to us was good value for money.

Pros:

Die Dame war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist top und man hat eine eigene Küche. Außerdem ist der Preis unschlagbar.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war nicht so wie auf dem Bild, bzw. hatte ich bei den Fenstern Luftschlitze was ja erstmal nicht schlimm ist aber im Bambusstrauch beim gemeinsamen Draußenbad waren Kakerlaken und ich bilde mir ein sie auch bei mir unter der Decke (unterm Dach) gehört zu haben. In meinem Zimmer waren sie aber nicht sichtbar und mit dem Ventilator dann auch nicht mehr hörbar.

Pros:

Nice location. Room as described. Little kitchen area you could also use with a fridge. Bathroom is shared between three rooms and is kept clean. The location is easy to the town and beach. But in a more local area so nice and quiet.

Meer dan prima. Grote kamer en warme douche! Locatie is op loopafstand van alles.
