Wonderful with great memories about the staff and excellent cooking /meals
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent with good flavour. Also the free coffee & tea was the first i encountered at a hotel. This was great. The Hotel was very close to the wedding house and the airport. This made my life much easier in the terms of travelling. The entire staff, from the guys at the hotel entrance to the staff serving the food and the bar tenders , the cleaners was very very friendly and hard working. This great, they made as feel at home with pleasant manners as a complete team serving the general public. The only thing, is that the hotel name should be highlighted at junction for tourists detection. What can i say, i love both outdoor & indoor dining, the layout of bar with excellent stools around the bar and the relaxation area with a television. I believe that is why people recommended Grand Coastal Hotel to me and wife . And i will do the same. Thanks very much for having us.

Pros:

The hotel was clean and room comfortable. The restaurant staff was very nice and friendly and accommodating. Took the taxi service back to the airport. Was excellent service by the driver.

Pros:

The room was pretty clean and well kept. Overall a comfortable stay and the staff was accommodating.

Cons:

The water scheduled lock off between the hours of 3pm-4pm.

Comfortable room and staff were excellent
Pros:

The staff were very attentive and caring. They were always happy to help.

Cons:

The dampness in the room. All the facilities stopped at 10pm. There was no holiday atmosphere at the hotel. It was very quite and boring

Very boring
Pros:

We were 6 in the group for the first ten days. Two of us were Guyanese and were attracted to the bake and saltfish for the first 3 days. The other 4 tried to choose from the remaining items. Of the 4 two were Jamaicans who left after a very short stay very disappointed. Don't think we the Guyanese could get them to return to Guyana again. At least in the near future unless specifically invited to attend a special event.

Cons:

The fruits were boring,. The same ones every day. We the Guyanese in the group boasted of the varity of fruits Guyana has and were disappointed with what we found. Out of mseson, then good planning is needed to cater for this,.Entertainment is non-existing day or night. The bar is closed at 10.0pm. When on holiday one expects to have late nights not be treated like children and have to be in bed by 10.0pm. If Guyana is expecting to attract tourists then hotels must buck up their ideas and see what other hotels in the Caribbean are doing and try to emulate sum of them.

It was a very nice stay at the hotel
Pros:

The staff was very helpful and friendly

The chef in the kitchen provided me food cooked separately because of my seafood allergies .

Cons:

Serve the same breakfast buffet every day. Needed more variety .

Too much flies around the eating area and around the tea and coffee area

Great overall stay and made to feel welcome just
Pros:

The hotel itself is lovely and well kept.
Most of the staff are friendly, taxi drivers including Romel is helpful and give great advice as we are new to the country. Ferguson is a real star! Super helpful, It had a pool, drinks are good and reasonable, food nice in house taxi arrangements

Cons:

Hardly accessed the pool, no seating around it, some staff are not as friendly as others. Food is over priced, there should be a deal for guests staying at hotel.

The stay at the beds were comfortable to log into the TV complicated. The staff were very friendly
Pros:

Stayed for four days the breakfast menu never changed the noise from the traffic from the staff early morning where my room was present not great most of the staff very friendly. Very nice. I love that except for one but overall they were no good alternative for the morning breakfast the lunch menu was reasonable.
The room had no iron or ironing board no microwave no fridge

Cons:

The friendly staff the people working at the bar we’re also friendly the night wings and chips were good big potions
