OK hotel with terrible restaurant
Pros:

Nice hotel with good facilities. Most staff were pleasant.

Cons:

The restaurant was awful. Food was poor and service very slow. When our food arrived, they turned off the background music and started rearranging the tables and chairs all around us. This made it an unpleasant experience. When we complained when leaving, the woman taking our money just smiled and reacted like we were complimenting her!

We also had a call from reception asking how our stay was. We told them about the bad experience at the restaurant, but they just thanked us for our answer and made no attempt at apologising or improving things. If you are not going to react to criticism, don't bother asking.

Overall it is nice to stay
Pros:

Breakfast is OK, and the location is close to the China town, but the MRT project is make the traffic very crowded around the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The safe box was not work well even the staff set it when the first day I checked in, but it couldn't use again after a few days.
Spa girl massage was not professional and the service time was less than price list.

Great place to stay steps away from Chinatown
Pros:

Large room and bathroom, comfortable and huge bed. Very nice Jamarta view. Good pool. Amazing service. Close to Chinatown, that was an advantage for us. Very clean!

Cons:

Very loud aircon and strange smell in the room. One can live with that but it kept bugging me.

Honesty Is The Best Policy
Pros:

The cleanliness of the room we stayed was superb.Infact when we checked out and left for Bandung,my friend inadvertantly left his wallet in the room.We were glad that the front liners who had safely kept the wallet till we return.Kudos for the honesty of the cleaners.5***** rating.Will surely choose this hotel for our next visit to Jakarta.

Cons:

Please place/put more sofa and chairs for guest in the main lobby as it is now inadequate.

Pros:

Everything about the accommodation was excellent. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were especially impressive—they always listened carefully to guests’ requests and did their best to resolve them. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit.

Cons:

There isn’t really anything to improve, but if I had to mention one downside, it would be that there was heavy traffic in front of the hotel due to ongoing construction.

Uitstekend hotel in oude deel van Jakarta
Pros:

Uitstekend hotel, ruime en riante kamers, goede service, vriendelijk personeel

Cons:

De bar is aan de prijzige kant.
De omgeving is mede door bouwwerkzaamheden wat rommelig, maar dat ligt niet aan het hotel en is tijdelijk.
Ligging is wel centraal, nabij Chinatown en het oude centrum van Jakarta (Kota)
