We really enjoyed our stay in Arashiyama and would stay here again
Pros:

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed the japanese breakfast every morning. Location was perfect, away from the crowds, close to the onsen, beautiful view.

Cons:

Mattress was a bit too soft and gave me back ache

Top choice!
Pros:

This place is the best. Great view of the mountains and river in a spectalular location. Staff was very friendly. I have zero complaints.

Pros:

Chambre confortable, proche du parc aux singes et à côté du onsen fu fu no yu ( avec coupon de réduction), et proche d'une gare. Personnel très accueillant. Les boutiques touristiques et autres gares sont de l'autre côté du pont. Possibilité de laisser des bagages après le check out.

Very nice hotel , nice location with super friendly and helpful staff . Breakfast was also delicious! Nice onsen in 2 min walk from hotel !

Pros:

Close to the Kyoto attractions. Walking distance in fact. We were able to park our motorcycles off street. We had been sleeping on Tanami mats. It was great to lie down on a comfortable bed.

The towels were a bit thin.

Comfortable, clean, and spacious
Pros:

Spacious and clean space in a great location! We walked everywhere easily from the hotel and it was a comfortable and pleasant space to return to after the days of walking. Staff was so very friendly and polite from the moment we arrived until the moment we departed!

Pros:

Very spacious and comfy rooms and an excellent location for Arashiyama. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a large and tasty Japanese breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel; and it's excellent value for money on top of this.
