Very unclean and stuffy

I honestly don’t understand how this place got such a high rating. Maybe it was good in the past, but if you’re reading reviews in 2026, be aware that the hotel is very poorly maintained and extremely dirty.

When I arrived, the walls were so dirty that you wouldn’t even want to lean against them. The elevators were covered in fingerprints that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and there was food left on the floor. There was even cereal scattered around—probably dropped by a guest by accident—but what I don’t understand is why nobody came to clean it up.

Unfortunately, things didn’t improve once I got to the room. The mirrors were very dirty, and the bed sheets did not look clean. I asked the staff to change them, but at that point who knows what sheets they would replace them with. I just hoped the new ones were actually clean.

The air conditioning barely worked, and keep in mind this is Bangkok, where temperatures can reach 38°C. Paying this kind of money and ending up with an AC that feels like it’s only blowing air is simply unacceptable.

The price they charge might be reasonable for a basic roadside hostel, but definitely not for a hotel at this level. For the same amount of money, you can easily find a great apartment or a much better hotel that actually provides good value.

On a personal note, I also didn’t like the room design. It felt very dark and closed in. There was almost no natural light. There are essentially no windows—just a small opening near the AC unit, and even that is covered. The lighting inside the room is extremely dim, and the heavy gray door feels more like a metal prison door than the entrance to a hotel room.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel, pas loin des commerces

Cons:

Pas de prises dans la douche et lumière très faible (pas évident pour se maquiller).
L’eau n’était pas assez chaude.
Pas de vue par la fenêtre (sensation d’être en prison).
L’ambiance de l’hôtel et du quartier en général est assez « froide ».
Le Check in est Hyper tard ! 14h je trouve cela abusé ! Et c’est payant pour avoir la chambre un peu plus tôt..
