Camas e travesseiros extremamente confortáveis, chuveiro ótimo e localização excelente, perto de tudo! Com certeza voltaria!
The location of the hotel was convenient to reach mostly anything in town. There are shops, cafes, and restaurants all in the immediate vicinity.
Additionally, the price point was competitive for it's location.
As mentioned by others in the reviews, the self check-in process did not work. There was a couple before me for which it did not work and also for me there was no card generated for the room after payment. It was eventually solved by a phone call. After check-in, I had a brief rest at which point (I think due to a check-in/room mix-up), a woman entered my room while I was sleeping with a key card for my room. This immediately made me feel uncomfortable as to how someone could access my room--it was a safety issue for me especially traveling as a solo female traveler.
I don't think the word boutique should be in the name of this hotel as there really aren't any distinguishing features of speciality/service/personalization here. There is no reception, no laundry service, no special amenities so it basic at best. It is not quiet inside the hotel as the stairs and proximity of rooms (with shutting doors) make it rather noisy.
One other rather strange incident was during the early morning hours while I was sleeping--the sky light began opening by itself--which woke me up as it was making a noise that startled me awake.
In centro
At the time I’ve left!
A Pricey Trap Disguised as a "Boutique Hotel" – Worst Booking.com Experience Ever
Appalling management, nonexistent communication, and misleading advertising. My experience at Nao Boutique Hotel during the San Joan festivities was an absolute disaster from start to finish. This hotel charges luxury prices but delivers services and facilities that are inferior to a low-grade hostel.
1. Nonexistent Communication and Total Abandonment Before Check-in
Fake 24/7 support: The hotel promises round-the-clock assistance but completely ignores guests. WhatsApp messages took hours to be answered.
Chaos upon arrival: I arrived on San Joan day (well-known to be a chaotic date on the island) with no buses, taxis, or Uber available from the Menorca ferry. I reached out to the hotel for guidance, and they took 4 hours to reply—by which time I had already managed to get there on my own. No prior warning regarding traffic or logistics was ever sent. This hotel only cares about occupancy and taking your money.
2. The "Self Check-in" Ordeal
Lack of basic instructions: There is no physical reception, yet the hotel fails to send any photos, videos, or clear step-by-step guides on how to access the property.
Redundant and bureaucratic system: The self-service kiosk requires you to re-enter a massive amount of data that had already been provided through Booking.com.
Lineups and frustration: I was stuck outside sending messages that went unanswered. I only managed to get in because another guest (who also struggled) helped me. Several guests arriving from the same ferry piled up at the door, resulting in a humiliating waiting line on the sidewalk.
3. Claustrophobic Room and Misleading Photos
Different room than advertised: I booked a room with a single bed and was given one with a bunk bed, making the suffocating space feel even worse.
Ridiculous dimensions: The room is so tiny that if I opened my arms, I could almost touch the opposite walls.
It was a great location
The room was a bit airless with no window and a damp feel.
El check -in
Mooi gelegen in hattke centrum van Ciutadella. Wat een leuk stadje! Aanrader en must see op Menorca.
Niks
The property was centrally located and easy to find. The self check-in process was easy, with very well provided instructions. I was completely satisfied with the room facilities, the bathroom was modern and I had no issues with hot water. My stay was short and I only needed a single room with the basics, it was very clean with a comfortable mattress and pillows, with good linens and towels.
What seemed like a great location in old town right across from the cathedral, came with a caveat - you have to be ok with the loud church bells ringing every hour.
Posizione pazzesca, struttura molto pulita, letto molto comodo.
