Pros:

This newly opened property consists of 5 chalets in a well presented complex with pool, jacuzzi, small restaurant and bar. The rooms are of modern Thai style and equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. Although a bit off the beaten track it is well worth making the effort to visit (beware google maps does not take you the best route - go to the next turning with the sign; depending on which direction you come from). The food was excellent with a mixture of Thai and western, with some surprise dishes influenced by the Austrian and Thai owners. While the excellent surroundings, good food (and drink) and comfortable accommodation made it good value for money, the stand out attraction was the hospitality shown by the owners, who made me feel very welcome and when I departed 3 days later, I felt I was leaving friends. This location would be ideal for those who want to just get away for a few days to relax, or a small group who want to make a few days relaxation and take over the 5 dwellings, when the owners will make bespoke tours or parties, Although I doubt I will be ever be working in the immediate area again, I certainly plan to find an excuse to visit. Oh! Just in case you can’t cut yourself off totally from the outside world the WiFi connection was excellent.
