Comfortable hotel with lovely staff.
Pros:

The staff were really nice and tried very hard to make our stay the best. The room was huge and so was the bed. Air conditioning very effective. We had to run the shower for a while before the hot water came through but it was powerful enough and hot after a few minutes. The breakfast which was included in the price was ok. Welcome drinks on the roof terrace watching the sun set was a treat, as was lunch on the deck overlooking the lagoon after our boat trip.

Cons:

We liked it all. Two chairs on the balcony would have been nice but it didn’t matter as there were other nicer spots to sit in the property. Watch out for the raccoon on the balcony rail as it gets dark(not bad, just to be aware it might pass by!)

Las habitaciones que están para el lado de la calle pueden ser ruidosas. Algunas reposaderas, sillas en el muelle o cosas asi están viejas y en mal estado, rompiéndose fácilmente. Falta mantención

Cons:

Une chambre à l'ombre vue lagune et non vue mer mer sans balcon alors que des chambres beaucoup mieux situées étaient disponibles. Est-ce en raison d'une réservation booking ?

Uitstekend voor een paar dagen in Rio L
Pros:

Mooie ruime kamers met een fijne badkamer.
Het personeel is super lief! Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd.

Cons:

Er is geen lift. En de familiekamers zijn op de 3e verdieping.
Wat ons betreft mag er meer schaduw in de tuin, er is veel ruimte om parasols of een boom te plaatsen.

Pros:

Hôtel très bon rapport qualité prix avec vue sur la lagune et un petit port de pêche charmant. Personnel aux petits soins. Rio Lagartos vaut vraiment le détour. Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir dans un cadre encore authentique, loin des foules de touristes de la Riviera Maya.

Magnifique hôtel
Pros:

La gentillesse et l’attention du personnel, le charme de l’hôtel et l’emplacement ainsi que ses sorties en bateau avec la gentillesse de Albert qui a pris son temps pour nous expliquer toute la faune et la flore de ce beau pays

A disappointing stay
Pros:

The hotel is well positioned within Rio lagartos and very convenient for taking a boat trip across the lagoon to spot birds and crocodiles.
The lunch we ate there was very good as was the breakfast.
The staff are welcoming and very pleasant.
Large room with comfortable bed and pillows.

Cons:

The hotel is rather worn and shabby.
The design of the hotel is such that it allows noise to bounce around, resulting in it being very echoey. There was a large group staying with several children who caused a lot of noise until late in the evening.and it was impossible to sleep. We requested to change rooms which fortunately did help.

Comodità e posizione ad un prezzo competitivo
Pros:

Ottima posizione, comoda sia per scendere a piedi ai vari ristorantini, sia per raggiungere le imbarcazioni che effettuano le attività all'interno della Riserva.
Una volta parcheggiata la macchina davanti all'hotel, ce la siamo proprio dimenticata e abbiamo girato a piedi il piccolo villaggio di pescatori.
Colazione semplice, ma con un minimo di scelta tra salato e dolce.
Viene offerto un cocktail di benvenuto, che è succo di frutta o moscato.
La reception offre alcune ipotesi di tour, ma noi abbiamo optato per un fornitore esterno, perché purtroppo gli orari proposti non si adattavano alla nostra tabella di marcia.
Belli la piscina e il giardino esterno, che abbiamo visto solo dopo cena, ma di cui non abbiamo usufruito.

Pros:

I live past of the year in Tulum, have eaten all over the the Yucatan and the restaurant here, had done of the best food anywhere. It's actually a food destination with amazing tours and atmosphere.

Cons:

Nothing really. I wish the staff pushed the restaurant a little more. I had to ask if there served food because it shows on the website they have food, but nothing is showing. It wasn't until the last day I found out they have a full on espresso bar. Anyways, it's great so nothing of importance to complain about

Pros:

This hotel is such good value. The rooms are big and beautiful, the staff were lovely, The hotel felt very luxurious! With a big breakfast and a welcome drink served every day included. Rio Lagartos itself is gorgeous, one of my favourite places in mexico, very chilled, calm and friendly.
