INTHE MORNING : Between 07h15 am to 07h30 am: We will pick up guests at hotels/stays around Hanoi Old Quarter Area, our guide will come to your hotel lobby and check your name at receptionlist then transfer to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village about 1,5 hours drive.
Begin your adventure at Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, where the vibrant sight of incense sticks drying in the sun creates a unique and picturesque setting. Discover the traditional craftsmanship behind incense making, a significant aspect of Vietnamese culture and spirituality. Note: If it rains you cannot see the incense so you will visit Bat Trang pottery village (45 minutes driving) instead with a pottery workshop where the artisans produce ceramics products for domestic use and exporting. You also practice making 1 sample with the instructor.
Before 11:30 am, you will be at Train Street to get ready for taking photos/videos of the train coming back to Hanoi Railway station. This is the most expected part of the trip. Then you have lunch there. NOTE: If you join a half-day MORNING tour, the tour guide says goodbye to you at the hotel.
IN THE AFTERNOON: After lunch, we continute visitting Hoa Lo Prison which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton.
Then Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam in The 10th Century, learn more about Confucianism and Viet Nam traditional education with Khue Van Pavilion and Doctor Stelas on turtle's back
Next we keep going to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (visit the outside of the mausoleum), Ba Dinh Square where president Ho Chi Minh declared Independence of Vietnam on September 2nd, 1945.
We visit Tran Quoc Pagoda the oldest pagoga located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. At about 1400 years old, Tran Quoc Pagoda is Hanoi’s oldest temple. It sits on the tiny Golden Fish Island on West Lake (Ho Tay), joined to the lake banks by a causeway. Then the tour will ends with special Egg coffee that you have never tried before
17:30 Dropping you off at your hotel in Old Quarter Area or meeting point. Trip ends.
