This 4-day Chitwan National Park tour starts from Kathmandu or Pokhara by private vehicle or tourist bus. Located in Nepal’s Terai lowlands, Chitwan National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich wildlife and natural landscapes.

The tour offers a perfect blend of nature and culture. Enjoy peaceful canoeing along the river, ideal for bird watching, followed by guided jungle walks and exciting jeep drives inside the national park. Each jeep accommodates a maximum of 10 persons for comfort and safety. Cultural experiences include a guided Tharu village tour and an entertaining Tharu cultural show, providing insight into local traditions. A visit to the sunset view point offers beautiful views over the park.

Tourist Bus Information: Guests traveling by tourist bus must reach the departure point on their own. Buses depart from Sorhakhutte Tourist Bus Stop, Kathmandu, or Tourist Bus Park, Lakeside Pokhara. We will provide vouchers closer to the tour date.

    Kathmandu or Pokhara to Chitwan by private car or tourist bus, choose option when booking.

    Chitwan National Park

    Early in the morning, you will depart for Chitwan. If traveling by private car, hotel pickup is scheduled at 7:00 AM. If traveling by tourist bus, you must arrive at the bus stop by 6:45 AM at either Kathmandu or Pokhara for the onward journey. The drive to Chitwan takes approximately 5-6 hours from Kathmandu and 4-5 hours from Pokhara. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will be transferred from the bus station to your lodge, where a delicious lunch will be served. After lunch, enjoy a guided Tharu Village Tour to gain insight into the daily life, culture, and traditions of the local community. Later, visit a nearby sunset viewpoint to enjoy beautiful views over the surrounding landscape. In the evening, experience a lively Tharu Stick Dance cultural program performed by the local Tharu community, followed by dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

    Chitwan National Park

    After breakfast, enjoy a serene canoeing experience followed by bird watching and a guided jungle walk through the natural surroundings. Return to the lodge for lunch, then head out for an exciting jeep drive inside the national park, offering opportunities to spot wildlife such as rhinos, deer, and other animals, with a chance of seeing a tiger if you are lucky. In the evening, return to the hotel to relax and unwind.
