Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk, a journey of approximately 3-4 hours. Nestled in the Annapurna region, Ghandruk offers stunning views of Annapurna South and Macchapuchre. After exploring Ghandruk, you will start your trek towards Tadapani. The trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani is a moderate hike, taking about 3-4 hours. As you reach Tadapani, you will be greeted with breathtaking views of the Annapurna range. Enjoy a hearty meal and rest for the night in a cozy teahouse.
On the second day, start your trek from Tadapani towards Bayeli Kharka. The hike takes about 5-6 hours, leading you through dense forests, offering occasional glimpses of the Annapurna range. As you approach Bayeli Kharka, enjoy the serene landscapes and pristine nature. Settle into a teahouse for the night, surrounded by stunning mountain views.
On Day 3, begin your trek from Bayeli Kharka to Khopra Danda. The hike takes about 5-6 hours offering breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. As you reach Khopra Danda, you will have awesome views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna ranges, Dhampus Peak, Mt. Nilgiri, and other mountains.
On the next day, early in the morning, embark on a day hike from Khopra Danda to Khayar Lake that takes 9-10 hours. Upon reaching Khayar Lake, enjoy the serene and sacred beauty of this high-altitude glacial lake. After witnessing the breathtaking scenery return to Khopra Danda for a restful night in your teahouse.
On Day 5, begin your trek from Khopra Danda to the village of Swanta. This trek takes about 5-6 hours, offering a scenic trail through lush forests and terraced fields. Upon arriving at Swanta, enjoy views of the surrounding hills and local farmlands. Settle into a teahouse and take the opportunity to explore the village, experiencing the local culture and hospitality.
On Day 6, trek from Swanta to Ghorepani, ascending to an altitude of 2,860 meters. This 5–6-hour hike takes you through picturesque landscapes, including lush forests and charming villages. As you reach Ghorepani, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Settle into a teahouse for the night, preparing for an early hike to Poon Hill the next day.
Start your final day with early hike to Poon Hill. The 1-hour hike rewards you with a stunning sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, offering breathtaking panoramic views. After soaking in the views, descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing your trek to Ulleri, which takes about 4-5 hours. From Ulleri, drive back on a private vehicle to Pokhara
