Well-timed 2-hour experience with an archaeologist to discover the history and the most interesting characters of the ancient city that was buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Herculaneum represents a unique of its kind, both for the state of conservation of archaeological materials and places. The archaeological site differs from Pompeii thanks to the type of volcanic material that buried it. During the tour you will live helped by me a unique experience that will allow you to increase your knowledge of the traditions, habits and lifestyle of the ancient Romans. During the tour we will visit the most important places and symbol of the ancient city: the typical Roman houses (domus) with their decorative structures, the shops, the spas, the thistle, the ancient beach, the charred organic materials etc. All the topics covered will be accompanied by a series of technical and mythological references that make the visit very pleasant for both adults and children.
