Wander through the Tridente neighborhood where the artist once lived, which will lead you to St. Louis of the French church to see the beautiful altarpiece painted by the artist to show the life of St. Matthew.

    Santa Maria del Popolo church stands close to the northern gate of Piazza del Popolo. Here in the small chapels you can admire 2 of Caravaggio's magnificent paintings as well as those of other great artists.

    PIazza del Popolo meaning People's Square is located at the beginning of via Flaminia and was once the entrance to the city from north during the Roman Empire. Here you can visit the Santa Maria del Popolo church and admire the obelisk statue in the centre of the square.

    The Church of St Louis of the French is located between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Although the exterior may seem simple, the interior is home to a trio of Caravaggio masterpieces located in the Contarelli Chapel.
