Experience traditional Berber life and Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains without having to make your own travel arrangements and with advantage of a guide’s insight, on this tour from Marrakech. Travel into Toukbal National Park and visit Berber villages and an argan oil co-operative; trek to waterfalls, call at a Berber home for mint tea and cooking class, then enjoy an optional mule ride to explore the village at your own pace. A Berber lunch and door-to-door return transport are included.

Follow twisting roads past lush valleys and terraced fields, and visit a women’s argan oil co-operative in the village of Tahanaout. If the excursion is taken on a Tuesday you can visit the berber market too.
Then ascend further to the village of Asni. If it’s a Saturday, stop to browse Asni’s traditional Berber market before continuing higher to Imlil, stopping for photos on route.
On aarival, in Imlil you will have tea or coffee and meet your guide and then you will walk for 2 or 3 hours with your local mountain guide visiting Berber villages, waterfalls and experiencing amazing views of the highest mountains in North Africa. Your guide will point out things of interest and talk to you about the Berber culture and heritage along the way.
Continue to another place where, if possible during the day, you will visit a private family home for a refreshing mint tea or a coffee with biscuits, then have a cooking class with locals to enjoy a Berber lunch prepared by your care.
Departure from Imlil in the late afternoon and en route you will have the option of riding a camel at Moulay Ibrahim River and take pictures. Arrival in Marrakech around 5 or 6pm.
