For those who love outdoor activities and would love to escape the hustle bustle Saigon. Located in Tay Ninh province, only 3 hours drive from Saigon, Ba Den Mountain is a part of Nui Ba Historical and Cultural Complex, which is famous for its scenery and mysterious tales. This is the highest mountain in southeastern Vietnam. The tour including transfer, pick up and drop off at hotel in city centre, English speaking guide, and lunch.

What to expect

Depart from your hotel at 7.00 for a 3 hour drive to Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh province. This is the highest mountain in the southeastern Vietnam. Located 11km to the Northeast of Tay Ninh City, the mountain is 986m high. Enjoy scenic views of farmers' fields, rubber tree plantations, and friendly locals as we make our way there.

Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain, we commence trekking on the foot path to the top of the mountain. You may encounter some small streams and great views along the way. Reach the top of the mountain after about 2.5-3 hours and reward yourself with the stunning views. Break for a picnic at the summit.

For the descent, we'll follow a beautiful but steep route for about 2 hours until we reach Ba Den Temple. Alternatively, you can choose to take a cable car to the base, allowing you to enjoy a final view of your achievement before returning to Saigon.

This trek is one of the toughest treks to be done in a day from HCM City. The trail is well defined but steep, rocky and uneven in places. Recommended fitness level.
