In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel to begin an exciting journey to one of Ecuador’s most iconic attractions: the Middle of the World. Located just north of Quito, this unique destination marks the approximate location of the Equator, where the Northern and Southern Hemispheres meet. Our first stop will be the Intiñan Museum, an interactive cultural and scientific center where you will learn about the significance of the Equatorial Line and the ancestral knowledge of Ecuador’s indigenous cultures. Through engaging exhibits and demonstrations, you will discover fascinating facts about geography, astronomy, and local traditions while exploring the unique characteristics of being at latitude 0°.

After your visit to the Equator, continue to the traditional parish of Pomasqui, where you'll be warmly welcomed into the home of a local family. This authentic culinary experience offers a unique opportunity to discover Ecuadorian cuisine through the eyes of the people who prepare it every day. Together with your hosts, you'll create a traditional homemade lunch featuring three classic courses: a starter, a main dish, and a dessert, each highlighting fresh local ingredients and family recipes passed down through generations.
