Shop for Authentic Souvenirs: bargain for a handwoven Netela (perfect gift) or a ready-made Habesha Kemis (women’s dress). Pick up silver jewelry or a hand-painted Ethiopian cross. Watch weavers at work: Some stalls have traditional loom weavers crafting fabrics on site ask to see the process! Practice Amharic and bargaining: bargaining is expected—start at 50% of the asking price and meet halfway.
