Get ready to explore the ancient city and its ruins: we will start from the main entrance of the Porta Marina Superiore.
With VESUVIUS in the distance, we'll talk about the last moments of POMPEII, the disaster, and the HISTORY OF THE EXCAVATIONS.
We will pass through the Basilica, the Roman Forum with the market and the main TEMPLES...we will walk through the Maggiore Decumanus looking inside the Roman Bath (spectacular and recently opened) without forgetting to pay attention to the different erotic symbols scattered throughout the ancient city and inside the Lupanare!
We will then explore some of the most beautiful DOMUS recently opened and in particular the most fascinating.
The visit will continue to be among the shops of the Roman period, Termopolium. Pistrinum, Teatro Grande and Piccolo, Barracks of the Gladiators and much more!

Meeting and pickup
The guide will meet all his guests at PORTA MARINA SUPERIORE, at the entrance to the archaeological park in front of the Bar Hortus. The meeting point is located 50 meters from the Pompei Scavi Villa dei Misteri stop of the Circumvesuviana train

Porta Marina Superiore: the guide will be waiting for you outside the archaeological park with the sign “Pompeii Vip”. It forms the western entrance to the city and the name "Marina" comes from the fact that the outgoing road led to the sea.
