Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and travel to Ninh Binh, an ancient land enriched with cultural and geographical wonders, recently recognized as a World Heritage Site. The first stop is the Bai Dinh Pagoda complex, one of the largest pagodas in Vietnam. Set scenically at the foothills of Dinh Mountain, it is surrounded by breathtaking river valleys and dotted with limestone karsts that will leave you in awe. The complex showcases massive and magnificent Vietnamese architecture. After lunch at a local restaurant, depart for the Trang An Grottoes, a UNESCO-listed landscape of grottoes carved into striking limestone monoliths rising dramatically from the rice paddies. Enjoy a 2.5-hour traditional sampan boat ride along the serene river, passing through numerous caves. Return to Hanoi and be dropped off at your hotel.
