After pick-up from your hotel in Tangalle/Hiriketiya/Matara/Mirissa/Weligama/Unawatuna/Galle or Hikkaduwa areas and head for Udawalawe Or Yala National Park, where you'll switch to an open concept safari jeep in order to have the best views. An early morning or Afternoon start ensures you'll see the animals during one of their most active times of day Morning or Evening.

See Leopards, herds of elephants for sure and have fun watching for crocodiles, monkeys, water buffaloes, various endemic birds species and much more. Along the way, you'll learn about and observe the natural habitats of the local wildlife while you snap some amazing photos.

In the Morning or Afternoon, 3-hour safari adventure, switch back to the comfortable, air-conditioned car for the ride on to Ella where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.

    Udawalawe National Park

    Udawalawe National Park is a national park on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces in Sri Lanka. The park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir. The reserve covers 30,821 hectares (119.00 sq mi) of land area and was established on 30 June 1972.
