• The next highlight is the Basilica of St. Martin, which is actually a baroque gallery hall, in Weingarten. It is the largest baroque church building in Germany and north of the Alps. To this day, Joseph Gabler's organ is considered one of the most beautiful baroque organs in Europe. The adjoining monastery was donated by the Guelphs as a burial place as early as 1056.
