Explore & admire the monuments of Old Delhi, ie Jama Masjid (The Friday Mosque), a congregational mosque commissioned by the fifth Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. He was a noted patron of Islamic architecture whose most famous work is the Taj Mahal. It is the largest mosque in India, & Due to its magnificent size, it is often regarded as the apotheosis of Indian mosque design.
Enjoy a ride on a rickshaw to one of the oldest markets of Delhi. Old Delhi's main chaotic wholesale market offers a full medieval bazaar experience. During the reign of Shah Jahan, there was a tree-lined canal running through its centre, reflecting the moon. Hence, the name "Chandni Chowk" came to be, which means "Moonlight Square".
Drive around & photo stop at the Red Fort from outside, as 70% of the building is occupied by the Indian Army. Therefore, you see it from the outside and click some pictures.
Visit Raj Ghat, which symbolizes the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, following his assassination in 1948.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most important & Sacred Sikh shrines. The grounds include the Gurudwara, a kitchen, and a large (holy) pond. As with all Sikh Gurdwaras, the concept of Langer (Community Kitchen) is practised, and all people, regardless of race or religion, may eat in the Gurdwara kitchen (langar hall). The food is prepared by gursikhs & volunteers. At the Gurdwara, visitors are requested to cover their heads and not to wear shoes. Anyone can volunteer at the Gurudwara.
Agrasen ki Baoli stands in the heart of Delhi as a souvenir left behind by time. This ornate stepwell, which was once a water reservoir, is an exquisite example of splendid architecture and ancient engineering skills. One of the oldest monuments and the best-preserved stepwells in Delhi.
Finally, visit Qutub Minar (a world heritage site). The tall minaret was constructed in 1192 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak and later completed by his successor Iltutmish. The soaring conical tower is an exquisite example of Indo-Islamic Afghan architecture & has survived the ravages of time impressively. This great masterpiece is surrounded by lush green gardens, which are an ideal place for visitors. Each of the 5 storeys and towers of Qutub Minar has a unique design. Standing mightily as it was before till date.
