The starting point for the tour is the highest structure in Germany: the television tower located on the bustling square of Alexanderplatz.
From here we pass the red town hall and arrive at the museum island, one of the most important museums in the world. There you can capture the berlin cathedral, the unfinished reconstruction of the town castle, the old museum, the old national gallery, the pergamon museum and the messenger museum.
Just after the island you see the forum fridericianum consisting of the state operative, the faculty of humboldt university, the state and the first catholic church in berlin, st. Hedwig's cathedral. In the middle of the forum on bebelplatz, you will find a memorial to commemorate the book burning of hitler in 1933.
Shortly after we arrive at the Gendarmenmarkt, where you will find the former royal concert hall, flanked by the German cathedral on the south side and by the French cathedral on the north side. To this day, the square is seen as one of the most beautiful in Europe!
The next stop of our tour is checkpoint charly: one of the most famous border crossings of the berlin wall, which almost ended as the starting point of a third world war
While driving along the former border you see original parts of the Berlin wall and the site of the "topography of terror", one of the most visited documentation centers during the period of National Socialism
After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the square of the Potsdamer Place has been the largest building site in Europe since - today it is an ensemble of skyscrapers and futuristic buildings, including the famous Sony Center
After the border we reach the commemoration of the murdered Jews of Europe, also known as the Holocaust Memorial, opened 2005, to commemorate the murder of more than 6 million Jews during National Socialism.
Then the tour takes you to one of the most famous sights in Berlin: the Brandenburg Gate.
Then we leave the former eastern part of Berlin and enter the government, consisting of Reichstag, Federal Day and Chancellery.
