A view of the Turin Cathedral, where the Holy Shroud is kept (closed in a glass case in a controlled atmosphere, it is NOT visible), from the top of the Chapel designed by Guarino Guarini, reopened in 2018 after a long restoration following the fire of 1997, with a description full of details and peculiarities.
The Royal Armory has one-of-a-kind exhibits from every era.

    The seat of the Dukes of Savoy and later of the Kings of Sardinia and then of Italy, from which the Albertine Statute was promulgated, which houses the Royal Armory and the Chapel of the Holy Shroud.

    The Chapel of the Holy Shroud designed by Guarino Guarini and completed in 1683, destroyed by a terrible fire in 1997, is directly connected to the Royal Palace with an access corridor and offers a view of the Cathedral where the Holy Shroud is kept in the dark in a case in a controlled environment and atmosphere. The Shroud is therefore NOT visible, but it is possible, if requested and during the opening hours of the Turin Cathedral, to add a visit to the Cathedral and gather in prayer near the Shroud.
