The 25 de Abril Bridge is a suspension bridge on the Tagus river connecting the city of Lisbon (north bank) to the city of Almada (south bank), in Portugal. The bridge crosses the Tagus estuary in the final and narrowest part - the Tagus bottleneck. The Bridge is 2 277 meters long. With a free span of 1,013 meters, the 25 de Abril Bridge is the 33rd largest suspension bridge in the world. The upper tray houses 6 roadways (3 per direction), while the lower tray houses two railway lines electrified at 25 kv AC.

Cabo Espichel is a promontory located in Portugal, west of the Villa de Sesimbra. It is bordered to the south and west by the Atlantic Ocean and to the north by the National Highway 379 and the Ribeira dos Caixeiros. It marks the southwestern end of the peninsula of Setúbal. On the Cape you can see, vertiginous and abissal, the Bay of Lagosteiros. In Cape Espichel is the bush paquicaule Euphorbia pedroi Molero & Rovira, 1997 (Euphorbiaceae), "trovisco-do-espichel", local endemism. The Arrábida Natural Park is a biogenetic reserve located in the Setúbal peninsula, encompassing the municipalities of Palmela, Setúbal and Sesimbra, with the highest altitude in the Pico do Formosinho, with 501 meters of altitude, in the Setúbal district of Portugal.

Sesimbra has a rich history, from prehistoric vestiges to the development of an important preservation industry in the 20th century. The region was the scene of conquests and reconquests between Moors and Christians, with the Castle of Sesimbra being a strategic defense point. The Villa, initially centered on the castle, evolved into a village near the bay, driven by fishing and shipbuilding, becoming an important port.
