What to expect

From the Riisitunturi parking area, we begin your hike through peaceful old-growth spruce forests. As the trail gently climbs, the trees gradually open to reveal breathtaking views over colourful autumn fells, lakes, and forests. Along the way, your local guide shares stories about Arctic nature, wildlife, and local traditions. We take plenty of time to enjoy the scenery before gathering around a campfire for freshly made nettle pancakes and wild berry juice.
