Hands-on cooking classes will be held at our Japanese cuisine restaurant "Tokitarazu" in Hiroo, which is an upscale residential area in Tokyo. Our instructor, who has mastery of Kaiseki cuisine, will guide you step by step how to make the dishes and decorate the plates. Specifically, you will learn, e.g., how to make Dashi (soup stock), how to cook rice, and how to use cooking utensils and prepare ingredients, so even beginner chefs can have a great time!  You will also enjoy sake tasting. The class will be held in English and/or Japanese.

What to expect

Hands-on cooking class for learning Japanese traditional cuisine is available. You can learn the basics of Japanese cuisine staring from how to make Dashi(soup stock), how to make Sumeshi( sushi rice), and how to use cooking utensils. So even beginners can have fun!
