We start by departing London and travelling to the pretty Cotswolds village of Castle Combe. We'll wander around this quiet and picturesque place before setting off towards the Welsh border.
Our first stop in Wales is Chepstow; home to the oldest Welsh fortress. Chepstow Castle was originally built by the Normans in the 11th century and while here there will be time to explore & also have some lunch.
Once the largest coal trading port in the world, this re-generated area is now home to the Millennium Centre and Welsh Parliament.
Big Pit National Coal Museum is a celebration of Coal Mining where you can discover the history of Wales’ industrial past and perhaps take an underground tour.
