This experience takes place in the ocean, it's a shore dive experience. We will enter the beach from the shore and I will guide you through the amazing waters of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea where we will see amazing marine life, coral reef, and a shipwreck.
This will be the highlight of your vacation or staycation!
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We will be meeting at the beach portal at the end of Datura Ave., in Lauderdale by the Sea. Please use google maps and type in DownToScuba. We will meet by the colorful benches and showers. Please arrive in your bathing suits and prepared to go into the water. There is metered parking available.
What to expect
If you want to try scuba diving but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
This experience takes place in the ocean where we will be diving from the beach to a shipwreck and/or a Coral Reef. This is an introduction to Scuba that takes approximately 2-3 hours and it includes basic instruction and a fun dive.
All-inclusive with no hidden fees or rental charges.
No Experience or Certification is needed! We cater to all from non-swimmers to advanced swimmers. This is an amazing experience and it will be the highlight of your life that you will be talking about forever!
